Ephsaina HENRY, 86, retired farmer of the Freedom neighborhood died Thursday morning Feb 23 at the home of his son, Jess Henry, near Waynetown. Born Sept 16, 1863 near Green Hill, Indiana, Mr. Henry was the son of Alexander and Elizabeth Henry. He was married Feb 15, 1888 to Mary Mitchell in Warren County. He was a member of the Freedom Church and the Waveland Masonic lodge. For the past 4 months, Mr. Henry had been in ill health due to the infirmities of age. Besides his son, Jess, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Virgil Bowles of Danville, Ill and a foster son, Max Warren; 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. John Greensburg. He is preceded in death by his wife and one daughter. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at Freedom Church with burial in the Cemetery. - kbz
